This hardtop gazebo is good quality, but when we assembled it, we found some parts missing. It comes in 4 boxes, and they're heavy and huge. But we had to contact Wayfair to get some of the missing parts replaced, and they were very helpful. Hopefully these crucial parts will arrive soon so we can finish the assembly. The gazebo will be sturdy and the black finish is really nice-looking. I also like that it has curtains for privacy, and the included mosquito netting is a big plus.. Tom. Long Beach, CA. I've purchased several things through Wayfair and each of those was a pleasant experience. This hard-topped gazebo is beautiful now that it is complete and it looks impressive in our yard. We look forward to many years of use. But, it had a couple of misleading aspects to it The estimated construction time mentioned on the item's site was grossly understated. Even with the help of a second person for certain tasks, it took me more than 4 times the estimate in the listing -- and I am pretty experienced at constructing similar things. The product's installation instructions were nicely illustrated, but several parts were mis-labled in the instructions and several of the instructions didn't cover crucial details. More instructions and more explicit details would have been very useful. Some instructions were so ambiguous that I had to try out more than one possibility, going back and re-doing certain things. That is the product manufacturer's fault, though. Wayfair's transaction went very well. They are efficient, speedy, accurate and responsive. One quibble: in the time between placing my order and receiving the shipping confirmation (just a couple of days), the gazebo's price dropped almost $100. It would have been nice of them to give me the reduced price.. Thomas. MI. Sun Aug 09 2026

Designed for all-weather performance, this patio gazebo features a double-tier ventilated polycarbonate roof that enhances cross ventilation while efficiently draining rainwater, shielding you from strong UV rays, heavy rain, wind and snow in every season.

Absolutely beautiful gazebo and we love it! We were pleasantly surprised that it is made with real wood—it gives it such a nice, high-quality look and feel. The only downside was the instructions. They can be confusing and definitely aren’t the clearest, so assembly took quite a bit of time. Just taking inventory of all the pieces across all three boxes took us over an hour! Overall, it took about three separate days to put together, spending roughly 5–6 hours each day. That said, this was assembled by one person, so I think that’s important to keep in mind. With two people, I imagine the process would go much faster. Once it’s up, though, it is SO worth it. The quality is really nice, it looks beautiful, and it has completely transformed our deck. For the price, we feel like it’s an excellent value and would absolutely recommend it!. Janice. Philadelphia, PA. Mon Aug 24 2026

Well patience is a virtue comes into play with putting this together. It is highly recommended to have two people and if its your wife whos assisting you just be prepared for a marriage counsel session We didnt give it 5 stars because there were some roof panels that were bent or dented which we had to re-form. We met the UPS driver on arrival so it wasnt mishandled and the boxes seemed like they were in great condition so unsure how some of the contents were damaged.. Gary. Maryville, TN. Thu Oct 08 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sojag canopy parts are well constructed. Very nice finishes on every piece. It would be pretty hard to complete this project without a helper. The assembly can be done in one full day. Became quicker construction when the impact gun was used, however we are used to that tool and knew how to not over tighten. We used a square early on to keep the upright supports square. It should be emphasized in the directions when to final tighten screws. The cross supports which secure the roofing material should NOT be tightened until all screws are installed from above which hold the roofing material down. This helps to line up the bolts through the tubing/cross supports. Packaging was good. Instructions were concise. Labeling on the parts was good.. Nict. Nash. Tue Apr 25 2023

No, had no problem putting it together since I know how to do this kind of stuff but the only problem I’m having is the plastic on top of the gazebo. It’s hard to get off the protective plastic but otherwise from that love the gazebo.. Conrad. Mon Oct 19 2026

I purchased a 10 foot and an 8‘ x 10 pergola. We put them side-by-side and we have created a beautiful area which will be a setting area and a hot tub area. The directions were a little complicated, but we got everything done without a problem. We built the big one on Saturday and the one on Sunday. The second was a breeze after building the first one. I would of gave it 5 stars but I think the instructions could be a bit more concise. All in all I love the look and quality of this item. I put it up by myself, and took probably around 8 hours total or so (had a few inclement weather days). But I love it. Looking forward to putting some lighting in it!. John. Columbia, SC.
