Water resistance has held up through several seasons now (we keep it covered on an uncovered back deck that gets full, hot afternoon sun all summer). Frame is sturdy. This is an attractive piece, however the frame seems a bit cheap for the price I paid. The frame that the seat cushions sit on top of is not very substantial, I expected it to be more solid, instead of a loose grid pattern. Despite the fact that the box was completely torn apart. Nothing was damaged inside. YAY!! The build was extremely simple, I am talking about 10 minutes. The backing is absolutely gorgeous with all the ropes. Additionally, the cushions are very very comfortable, and none slippery. The wood is solid!! It does crack a bit because it’s new, but nothing concerning. The length is perfect to fit more than 3 ppl comfortably or have enough elbow room. Bottom line, I give this product a 5-out of 5!
