I purchased this smoker for my husband. The first day we received it, he said he wanted to season it. The next day he smoked a piece of pork, the best pull pork I have ever tasted. He used the pellets that came with the smoker. Now I have to purchase more bags of them. I recommend the smoker and the pellets, great smoky taste but not over board. Absolutely love my Pit Boss. It's less expensive than some of the bigger name brands, but does a great job at everything I throw at it. It's also easy to clean.
