[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband used this 3000 gallon filter to replace the old smaller filter in our koi pond. Overall our pond is around 2000 gallons and this filter outdid itself. It took him around an hour to remove and install the new filter. Within several hours we could immediately tell the difference in the clarity of the water.
