Some reviews stated that the installation was difficult, aI think they probably were confused by the terminal block used to connect the wiring. They were the screw-down type and really not all that common in the US. But, that's why Google is your friend! The fixture is quite light, l prefit everything first then removed the shade for the wiring- add the shade last. I was able to complete the job without any assistance. It can absolutely be a one person job. The only difficulty was with the decorative nuts for the mounting bolts; the bolts could be a little longer in my opinion.
