They were the perfect height I was looking for as why I bought these over metal ones.. They look really nice. I live in a state where we have red clay soil and so it is best to place after a rain or watering. I am not sure how far down they are supposed to go in the ground. Just the thing I needed to keep my dogs in and critters out as my neighbor's back fence has a large gap under it. The panels stay in place very nicely, and we have had a lot of high winds since installed and there haven't been any issues. Made to be flexible enough to curve gently around corners. It will only bend to about 30 degrees. It will not bend to 90 degrees. This product is 16" h. It consists of 8" h of woven area and 8" h of legs. You will only see 8" of fencing, due to the legs being put in the ground.

I really love the fencing the flexible woven lawn edging gives me enough extra privacy and it looks beautiful & natural just love that natural twig vine look of fencing.
