I just received my 45 inch large octagonal wood-burning fire pit and can’t wait to get this assembled and ready for use in my backyard. The packaging was great and everything looked pretty simple except it did take me some time to build as the screws weren’t lining up properly and the metal insert was difficult at the very end. But all in all it turned out great, and this is a very spacious large fire pit that will produce a good burning fire and that’s what the kids usually love. I do like the rustic look in the octagonal shape with its side vents for added airflow to keep the fire burning better. This gives it a great look while providing functionality that keeps the air flowing in as the logs burn stronger. It’s made of a steel frame with a foot rest on the bottom which adds to its versatile use.
