I just received my 45 inch large octagonal wood-burning fire pit and can’t wait to get this assembled and ready for use in my backyard. The packaging was great and everything looked pretty simple except it did take me some time to build as the screws weren’t lining up properly and the metal insert was difficult at the very end. But all in all it turned out great, and this is a very spacious large fire pit that will produce a good burning fire and that’s what the kids usually love. I do like the rustic look in the octagonal shape with its side vents for added airflow to keep the fire burning better. This gives it a great look while providing functionality that keeps the air flowing in as the logs burn stronger. It’s made of a steel frame with a foot rest on the bottom which adds to its versatile use. Our children are very excited that they’re going to have a wood-burning fire pit in our backyard so they can invite friends over for s’mores and a place to hang out and enjoy the cool fall nights . We can’t wait to get some firewood and get the party started. This definitely is a larger fire pit and great for parties and hopefully good times. Make sure you follow directions while putting this together and do not tighten all the screws until you are told to do so or else you will have issues getting the bowl placed on the ring around the top. Also pay attention and make sure you don't put in the middle screws on the ring part so you can attach the legs for that step. Got this put together over two days, because having help the first day we did the screws wrong and then I was too hot to finish.
