Love this swing set and so does my daughter. It did take a while to put together. My grandkids are spoiled This play set is fantastic! Based on the other reviews, I was worried about the size but it is perfect! Four-sided with all kinds of activities, double slides (yes, they are a bit steep and fast but no ones complaining), a rock wall, swing set, monkey bars, an upper fort and a lower area with a serving window and bench. It went together pretty easily but it takes awhile. I want to say it took me about 12 hours to get it completely together. The instructions are easy to understand but some of the bolt sizes it says to use are not correct. There are a lot of 2-14” bolts and a lot of 2-12” bolts. However it tells you to use the 2-14” bolts in almost everything and you run out by the time you actually need the 2-14” bolts. I ended up going back and installing the longer 2-12” bolts in a lot of places where there is thicker lumber and called for the 2-14” bolts to be able to have enough 2-14” bolts to use where they were actually needed. Also I flipped the swing and slide so I could have the play set oriented the way I wanted in my yard. The directions don’t explain how to do that but it’s easy enough to figure out. If you have a heat gun use it to assemble the slide it’s super helpful. The whole thing is a bit smaller than I expected. It’s perfect for my daughter who just turned four but I was hoping this would be something she could use until she was maybe 8-10. I’m worried she will grow out of this sooner than I had hoped. First off my grandsons 3, 6 and 7 love this swing set. It is very sturdy. THAT BEING SAID we opted to put the set together instead of professional installation - WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The set was delivered via truckline and sent on a pallet (took about 3 weeks to receive). There were quiet a few boxes. First off the boards were not in a "specific" box (for example the tower boards mixed with swing boards. etc) SOME of the boards (not all) had the item # on them. The hardware - well we had probably 5 bags in different boxes with 5/8 washer. and there are A LOT of screws and nails, etc. You are going to get duplicate of a lot of the hardware. The directions were NOT GOOD AND ALL OVER THE PLACEI .It listed all the hardware and all the boards with extra boards that are not even for this set and not all the boards have holes drilled! They send 2 different drill bits but we had to purchase a paddle drill bit too. It took my husband and daughter from May 24th until June 9th to complete (doing a little everyday but was many rainy days hampering everything. ). If you chose to take on this task my opinion open all boxes and sort boards that are alike together. I also took ziplock bags and put all the hardware that was the same together because so many screws and nails were the same. If it is in the budget HIRE A PROFESSIONAL! Good luck and enjoy!!!!.
