I can read in bed! This is so much better for reading than a lamp with a lampshade. The style is more typical of a desk lamp, but I'm happy with how it looks in my bedroom. It also has substantial weight - so I'm not afraid of knocking it over like I did my last lamp. Fyi - you can adjust the direction up and down. I like the color - it works with a wood paneled room.

Put it together and set it on desk. Working fine. Pleased with this purchase.

I kept the lamp, because it is difficult to find what I want after Covid, although it is a bit clunky looking. The color is a nice rustic copper, but it would have worked better for me if it swiveled more than just up and down. I had to lower it more than I wanted in order to keep the light out of my eyes. I move it up close to see my keyboard at night, and push it back to the other side of the stand when I don't need to see my keyboard. It's not perfect for me, but it does what it was intended to do. Very easy to put together after the unidentified tool included was figured out, as it was not mentioned in the instructions.

Love the quality, it doesn't light up the area. It shines in one direction. The shade is metal and solid all around.

It’s attractive and It worked well for spot I needed it for But for $100 it was not as substantial as I thought it would be. Way fair service is amazing
