About This Product

The Amia chair has a secret. Beneath the Amia chair's upholstery, inside its sleek backrest, there's a unique comfort system called live lumbar™ technology. You may not see it, but you'll certainly feel it. As you sit in the chair an adjustable live lumbar™ zone flexes with your every move for consistent ergonomic support for your lower back, hour after hour, day after day. The Amia chair was designed by Steelcase in collaboration with industrial designer, Thomas Overthin of IDEO.

Features

The synchro-tilt system allows back movement while feet remain flat on the floor
A patented livelumbar™ system supports the lower back
Pneumatic seat height adjusts within the range
A passive seat edge angle relieves pressure on the back of the legs
Seat pan angle: -3°- +3°
