The tilt mechanism is synchronized; the seat and back work in harmony with each other, keeping the body securely supported in the chair and feet firmly planted on the floor so you can recline without leaving your optimal zone for seeing and reaching your work. This model includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms (raise up and down, pivot in and out, shift forward and back, and side to side), pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment, flexing plastic mesh back, and upholstered seat. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. The flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. I LOVE my navy and silver task chair. The upholstery is perfect; very smooth for my sensitive skin. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have this ergonomic task chair with all the bells and whistles that work so easily. The lumbar feels so good on my back. The arms are so flexible to move any which way I need them to. The casters are perfect for my hardwood floor; I can flip from one area of my desk to the other freely. It was so easy to take the well-protected chair out of the packaging. It is a fantastic buy. The entire experience was exceptional and I am thrilled.
