Woodson Metal Canopy Bed

Get what you pay for: Shoddy workmanship, instructions with errors. Even so, the end result is fine and it feels pretty sturdy so I'm ok with it considering that it was inexpensive. The welding connections are thick and obvious, like black toothpaste (see picture). The instructions had the top and bottom bars reversed (see picture). And some of the drilled holes were done badly so that the screws wouldn't actually go in. We had to wait another 2 weeks for replacement parts, and so now I've got the leftover 4 long metal bars that I have to take to a metal collection or something. So, pretty frustrating experience but customer service was easy and in the end it looks fine.

Ordered this for a room I am preparing for my grand daughter when she visits from college. It was delivered within a week and was packaged well. I called my son to help put it together. It was easy, but definitely a two person job. The instructions weren't great, but the tool they gave to put it together worked well, and all parts were marked which simplified the process. Looks is of course amazing. Quality is exceptionally good. Welds look sturdy and strong. Overall, a really great designed bed that will look super when the room is finally finished.

Dont let the negative reviews steer you away! I am not sure what the people who say this isnt a sturdy bed are thinking. This bed is easily over 80lbs and barely wobbles. I am 135 and I actually tested it and the top bars can support my full weight. I have it on carpet, not sure how it would behave on hardwood. Only complaint is that it was over a week late for delivery but that is a FedEx issue.

Beautiful and easy to put together. As many others mentioned, this bed did come damaged. Not super easy to notice, but no one wants a brand new item to show up scratched, bent, and damaged. Customer service was helpful when there was a mixup with shipping.

Lovely bed that works great for my space. Easy enough to assemble (I did it on my own) and the price was right.

Absolutely love this purchase. The entire frame is well made and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. No missing pieces, even a had couple extra snaps for the slats. It also came in fairly quick. I would recommend having two people to assemble since it is a canopy bed. But it took maybe 30 min to an hour to actually assemble.

Everything came in time and the top of the bed was damaged. I decided to just put my pillows over it to cover it. You can also flip it to the bottom so I wasnt worried about it. Its a great bed and is pretty sturdy.

Great purchase for the price, just what we wanted.

Pardon the mess! I love the style and it took me about 2 hours to build by myself. It was a struggle, but if a sleep deprived 52 (53 on a good day) can manage to do it, you can too! I would follow the instructions and keep the bolts loose. The only part i would have loved help with were putting up the canopy bars. It took a bit of maneuvering and curses, but eventually it all worked out. I did buy a box spring to give my bed some height. Sadly, this means the pretty headboard is covered. I also bought a skirt, curtains, and lights to make this bed complete! As for the sturdiness of the bed...only time will tell. It seems solid and quite sturdy! Im happy i built it so i know where to look should anything need tightening later on. My cats love it, my roommate loves it and wants to get one for herself, and i love it!
