this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. It is true to size, made from heavy-duty, durable material that feels built to last. The waterproof polyester with PU coating does a great job of blocking both water and UV rays. I live in Sunny South Florida, where the sun can be intense, and the dark color helps significantly in reducing heat and glare, making my outdoor space much more comfortable. I did notice that the actual color differs slightly from the product images. Overall, if you're looking for a sturdy and reliable outdoor tarp, this one delivers.
