This was a fun DIY project for me. It does come with what feels like a gazillion parts, and the instructions can be a little confusing at one point, so take your time. It took me about 3 hours to assemble everything by myself. Once it was finished, though, the end result was fantastic. I’d rate the sturdiness 910—it’s solid for everyday use—but the appearance is easily on par with dining tables that cost much more. It looks premium and has a great presence in the room. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Absolutely love it. So much nicer than I was expecting. Heavy duty, does not look or feel cheap. Took a couple hours to put together, but I completely glossed over the part of the instructions when it said to only screw some of the screws in by 80%. Make sure to follow that part - you need to be able to have a little give in order to get some of the other pieces into place correctly. Once you pass that step, then it tells you to go back and screw them to 100%. That probably would’ve saved me about half an hour, but that’s user error, lol. I would 100% recommend.. Dina. This was an easy build, clear instructions, and screws pre-organized by type. They recommend having 2 people, but I was able to assemble it by myself. I used an end table [with some books on top] to hold each side rail up to make assembly easy. As for lifting it to face it upright , I grabbed the side rail to lift the table just a little, slid a book under the middle to raise the bottom edge. From there it was easy to turn the table on it's side. After that, I slid the book under it again, lifted it halfway over, then slid around to the opposite side while holding on, to be able to lower it gently. You can do it! I don't have things arranged to my liking in the room yet, but this table will seat 6 people easily! Easy to put together. Lighter weight than I thought so it moves around easily … sometimes a good thing sometimes not such a good thing. Yes 4 people can sit and eat with plates and beverages and a salt shaker in the center but everyone is sitting close enough to see the pores in each other’s faces. No room for serving dishes so we eat buffet style. Not a problem for two or even three at the table. The “cracks” in the table top that simulate wood slats are just food crumb collectors so cleaning means getting a potato brush or toothpick to scrape them out when you wipe it off … best to use a table cloth.
