It's PERFECT ordering and delivery was uneventful. Thou a little pricy ($50 more than the spa center where we purchased our hot tub). We went with wayfair because we could make pymts without interest. But the quality is evident when u open the pkg. it's heavy duty, has a nice snug fit on our 7ft tub. Steps are ok for many uses. Putting them together was a bit tricky. The worst part was the tallest step to put together. Had to use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the metal to allow the step to go in place. Overall, it was not too bad to finish. Now the Part for me that is "Deceiving" is the description. To me "ROLLING" means they have castors/wheels. Nope none to be found. I had initially got these with the intent of rolling it around to paint & do other household chores. So for now dragging it on a moving blanket is my only answer, unless my husband is willing to drill holes in the legs somehow & put on wheels. Wish they had used a different description.. Cheryl. Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. This lift is similar to ones I have had in the past. Installation is straightforward. I prefer this design for it carries the load at a lower point and keeps the cover further away from the spa. One of the biggest delays – and surprise added costs – associated with the installation of a spa is the bases. Many people opt for concrete pads or wooden decks on which to put their hot tub. In either case, you have to wait for the weather to cooperate (and the ground to be dry) and for the contractor’s (or your) schedule to open up. In most cases, this could delay the set-up of your hot tub by weeks. It will cost you a pretty penny, too, nearly $1500+ dollars. Our spa pad (also known as the Handi-spa pad) is a faster, cheaper alternative to concrete pads and wooden decks. These 6 modular pads, which connect together to make an 8’ x 8’ area, are more than sufficient to accommodate most hot tubs. Additional pads can be purchased if you have a larger spa.
