I needed this carport to use as an outdoor workspace for upcoming renovations. Its the next best thing to a garage. I do recommend installing the roof canopy after the roof frame has been assembled. Assembling the roof canopy after the frame was fully erected proved to be cumbersome. Highly recommend using a four-step ladder or 6 ft ladder. I was able to assemble alone. This car port looks great and functions great. We got the larger size and it fits my husband’s truck perfectly. The instructions were easy to follow, but just be prepared to leave a lot of time to assemble this. Start to finish it took us a long weekend with mainly 1-2 people working on it at a time. Once built, it’s not super heavy duty, however we did secure it down to cinderblocks at every post to add stability and keep it more secure with wind. Overall, very happy with purchase.. April. This metal carport is exactly what we needed! Our tractor doesn’t fit in our shed, and we wanted a good cover for it. We had a heavy rainstorm recently, and there were no leaks from the roof at all. We haven’t added the removable sides yet, but we plan to use them during the winter months.
