I live in Sunny South Florida, where the sun can be intense, and the dark color helps significantly in reducing heat and glare, making my outdoor space much more comfortable. I did notice that the actual color differs slightly from the product images. Overall, if you're looking for a sturdy and reliable outdoor tarp, this one delivers. Love these Royal Shade sun cloths!! I've purchased several of these to cover numerous outdoor areas that need protection from the sun. They are durable but flexible and allow rain and air to flow through them. They have heavy duty grommets approx. every 12 inches to help secure the shade cloth which really helps because many companies don't have this many grommets and the sunshade ends up flapping and tearing in the wind. These sun shades are so practical, affordable, and easy to install. I highly recommend these for anyone who needs more shade or protection from the sun! This was an experience. First, I couldn’t clear the utility lines at my house but my friend’s deck was perfect. We started out confident, but it didn’t last. The wrenching apparatus was our downfall. In the end we decided to forgo the winch process and hung it only using the locking mechanisms. The sail is great. It feels strong yet pliable and it’s the perfect shade of summer red.
