Order on a great sale & it remained boxed for a couple of months. Hung it (all by myself) 3 weeks ago using bungy cords & then zip ties as I tighten as it straightens out. (Finally fully flat & tight.) Looks great! Works fabulous for keeping my yard cooler for my pups. (Sorry - yard is a work in progress - but it is already HOT in Houston & this helps tremendously!!.). It is true to size, made from heavy-duty, durable material that feels built to last. The waterproof polyester with PU coating does a great job of blocking both water and UV rays. I live in Sunny South Florida, where the sun can be intense, and the dark color helps significantly in reducing heat and glare, making my outdoor space much more comfortable. I did notice that the actual color differs slightly from the product images. Overall, if you're looking for a sturdy and reliable outdoor tarp, this one delivers. What a giant shade sail! Amazing quality, made of quality virgin polyethylene which has a longer life. Our back yard is a wind tunnel! The heavy duty sun shade will be great to hold up in the KS weather. Each corner has a stainless steel wired enforcement ring hole that can withstand the heat wind and cold. The edges are taped down with a fold and tucked closed then sewed shut leaving NO frayed edges. The color is a vibrant Forrest green and weighs just under 2lb. This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. The sail I ordered measures 20' x 20' x 28.3'. it came with a installation hardware kit but I can't yet comment on whether the hardware kit works well. I also ordered another hardware kit in case I needed a different installation option than the one included. Unfortunately, Wayfair said it delivered both when I never received the additional hardware kit. After waiting 3 days to see if there was a problem with how the item was scanned, I have reported the missing delivery and hope that I will receive that other installation kit so that I can choose which kit will work better for installing the sai.. Shady ..the good kind. We had two sails to compare, the material of this one is heavier intertwined and double stitched which I am hoping to last better. The hardware came with it which is a plus but it’s smaller than the kind you can purchase by itself on Wayfair. I recieved the sun shade and it is made very well. The rings to tie it up are so well attached. I unfolded it and it is so much larger than I anticipated. I cant decide where to hang it, with the amount of trees in my yard I have so many areas to select from. This shade is this k and weather resistant. I love the color. Im sure we are going to enjoy this sun shade this summer. I would order this again. I will post pictures after we get it put up. this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key.
