This product worked ok for around a month and then it started leaking and drained all of the water out of my pond. It killed my fish and I had to replace them twice so I just stopped using it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband used this 3000 gallon filter to replace the old smaller filter in our koi pond. Overall our pond is around 2000 gallons and this filter outdid itself. It took him around an hour to remove and install the new filter. Within several hours we could immediately tell the difference in the clarity of the water. Easily removes particles and although rated higher capacity than our pond I think the larger size produces the better outcome. Very well made and heavy duty.

I am really impressed and extremely satisfied with this filter system. It is bigger than I needed but I hope it will last a while since it’s not being over worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpine Bio-Pure pressure filter has really changed my pond setup. Initially I did not have a UV filter system. Adding the Bio-Pure filter with UV-C has cleared up the water and allowed me to see how much my fish have really grown! The unit allows me to keep the good bacteria so I am not starting over every time I change the filter. The unit is solid and easy to clean. The green red indicator means I will not be late in cleaning out the filter ever again.I have my filter partially buried as suggested, so it hides easily in the ornamental grasses near my pump. I am so pleased now that I finally have the pond that I envisioned. my family is happy to see it as the beautiful water feature I intended it to be.

I was having trouble keeping my water clear so she convinced me to give this one a try! I’m so glad I did I will never use any but the Alpine! It’s easy to assemble and so easy to clean!
