Calysta Upholstered Ottoman

Looks solid. Unfortunately, there were no pre drilled holes in the seat cushion. The instructions did not call for any power tools or drills so it seems more than likely someone at the factory goofed in the assembly and inspection. Thank goodness my husband is handy. Since the legs are at an angle, the holes needed to be drilled at an angle into the seat.

It feels larger than the I expected from the photos but it’s very functional. I’m pleased with the purchase.

Nice and sturdy, easy to put together

Sturdy ottoman. Great size for our needs. Be prepared for a few assembly issues. One of the holes intended for one of the larger screws for the leg assembly had debris/glue or something that had to be chipped out before being able to be used. Of course, this was the 4th of 4 screws, so we had to remove the others to determine and correct the issue. Then, when attaching the cushion to the legs, it's up to you to determine the holes as there are no pilot holes. Not a huge issue, just a surprise for us. The first 6 went just fine. Murphy's law for us on this as we then found out the pre-drilled holes for the last side were way to small to allow the screws to be used. Two solutions, one don't use those last two holes, or take apart and re-drill those holes so the screws would fit. We chose option one as it seems sturdy enough at this point. Option two is always available if needed. Overall, it is a sturdy ottoman that serves our needs perfectly.

EXACTLY what I wanted. This is my fourth ottoman purchase from Wayfair. The first one had a faux leather covering, and my feet were constantly sliding off of it. The second and third were a set, the larger one was the perfect height, but was too large to use at the foot of my rocker; the smaller one was easier to manage, but wasn't high enough--had to put a pillow on it. So, after much searching through Wayfair's inventory, I finally chose the Calysta. PERFECT!! The correct height, lightweight enough for me to manage moving it around; foam padding is dense and the fabric is heavy duty, like a tweed. This one's a keeper and highly recommended.

Very nice ottoman! Heavy enough it doesn't tip over. Easy to put together even for me and I'm not handy at all. Looks great with my sofa or my chair.

So nice to have a light-weight ottoman to easily move around as needed. Easy to assemble and quality of fabric is very good.

I love my ottomans, they are bigger than I thought and is perfect for extra seating.
