I couldn’t be happier with these bookcases. They look beautiful, feel sturdy once assembled, and offer a surprising amount of storage. The combination of open shelving, drawers, and cabinet space makes them both functional and attractive. Assembly is definitely a two-person job and is a bit involved. Our first bookcase took about four hours to assemble, but by the time we built the second one, we’d learned the process and finished it in under three hours. One tip for future buyers the instructions have you attach the hinges to the cabinet doors first and then install them after the cabinet is fully assembled. We found it much easier to attach the hinge hardware to the cabinet frame before installing the top panel, then attach the doors as the final step. It’s still a little fiddly, but it’s much easier than trying to work in a cramped space with tiny screws. Overall, these bookcases exceeded my expectations. This storage cabinet can not only be used as a storage cabinet in office and study, but also can be used as a cabinet in kitchen and as a display cabinet in living room. Having this cabinet is a great way to keep your office or study organized.

This puts together nicely. It is an intense project that took several hours. It is a little “wobbly” when assembled but should be fine once it is in place. Drawers and doors close smoothly. All of the holes aligned perfectly. The biggest problem is that there is not a grommet hole so you can run electrical wires through the back. Ordered in black, and I must say this item is nice! The material is durable and holds heavy items well (I.e., kitchen aid mixer, blender, miscellaneous items). It has decent height and space to hold a few items such as the aforementioned, but it won’t hold much more than a few heavy or large items. I took away a star because the instructions are completely useless. It was such a hassle following along the directions provided. If you’re not good with puzzles, this won’t be a good item for you to purchase. Assembly took roughly 4 hours simply because of instructions. Once I ditched the instructions and started simply matching items that seemed to go together is when I was able to complete the assembly. Aside from this, very nice item.. Ld. Watertown, NY. This product arrived on time and no damage. It took me 1 hour to assemble it. The Quailty is a lower mid grade piece, but it serves the purpose for me to hold my household tools.
