Sturdy strength will help you sort! Sturdy Mail Sorters are made of compressed wood with adjustable hardboard dividers. The 36 Compartment Sorter has large slots to accommodate oversized envelopes. Stack up to two high to increase sorting capability. Black plastic molding does double duty, first as an attractive accent to the finish and second as a label holder for identifying the bins (labels are included). In my house, we use it as a command center to organize permission slips, documents that require action, papers to file, incoming/outgoing mail, etc. We also use it to corral small objects, like a cup we need to return to school or a key that needs to go back on a keychain. The document organizer was relatively easy to assemble. The only tool necessary was a hammer to hammer in the back panels. The back panels do need to be hammered in however. I left mine off initially because I wanted to make the document organizer accessible from both sides and it was pretty wobbly. I like that the shelves can be arranged however you want, making this organizer very customizable to your needs. Overall, this is a great product for organizing your documents! In this world of email and text messages, paper goods can be a pain to sort. Make that daunting task a little easier with this organizer! Measuring 12'' H x 31.8'' W x 12'' D, it sits neatly atop desks, entryway tables, and more, offering a total of 12 letter-size compartments for stationery, documents, and – of course – letters. Its manufactured wood frame features an oak finish and black plastic molding at the opening of each compartment that acts as a labeling area. Labels are included.

I got the quality I paid for. The cardboard interior was sturdier because of the compressed wood frame. The construction is strengthened by glue-infused dowels activated with water - but be careful to get the pieces oriented correctly as they are hard to reposition! Height is 12.25 inches not 12, so it didn't fit in my 12" bookshelf as planned. The slots are roomy for letter (8.5x11) and craft size (9x12) paper, but not for scrapbook (15x15) paper.
