Best Track Lighting Kits With Reviews

I ordered this light to replace a 4-light fluorescent framed oak fixture that was quite outdated. It is a lovely change in the kitchen and has a very artistic look. It is light weight and easily mounted to our existing ceiling junction box. However, as with any track lighting there are some darker spots in the kitchen. We will replace this with LED lights in the ceiling one day but until then, we are happy with this fixture. We added a wall dimmer which is quite nice in the early mornings when the full intensity of the LED is a bit too much. However, during evening cooking the full brightness is just right.

was delivered missing half the parts. wayfair sent a new one and told me to keep the old one for spare parts, which I did. And since this is a 3-light kit... and I had lights from the other one, I made the new light kit a 4-light kit borrowing one from the first partial set. with LED lights, it doesn't draw much power. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you use incandescent or fluorescent.

Good Lighting, I'm happy with the lighting kit in general. Arrived as promised. Box was torn but contents not damaged. The light was installed by electrician. Light bulbs are sold separately. I purchased two kits for my kitchen. The brushed nickel looks good with my stainless appliances. I purchased LED bulbs to save energy. One light head is defective and does not work. I contacted customer service via the online form and requested a replacement head. Will post an update once i get feedback about my issue, but I dont anticipate a problem, Wayfair customer service is usually very good. UPDATE: Customer service rectified my problem without delay. A service team member was assigned to my problem and she kept on top of the replacement part until it was at my door step. I like Wayfair is worry free shopping because of this excellent service and is one of the main reason I purchase from Wayfair instead of other e-tailers/retailers.

Instructions were poorly written. Diagrams were even worse. The track looks really nice. Just a side note that the lights actually have a right way and a wrong way to be put into the H track-be sure to put it in correctly or they won’t light. ( would have been helpful for that to be mentioned in instructions). I bought 2 more tracks today as I now know what mistakes not to make, and it should be much easier to install the next 2.

This is a beautiful fixture, seems well built and easy to install. I was worried it might be a little large for our 8’ ceilings and the space (using it above a baby grand piano for lighting, and I do kind of wish I could shrink the whole thing down about 10 or have the shades closer tot he ceiling, but I love it too much to change it out for something else. I think it would be perfect as kitchen lighting over a sink or peninsula, so if we do ever change it, that’s where it will go.

These look great. My husband installed and it was fairly easy. One of the screw holes was a bit smaller than necessary which made it a bit difficult to complete install but he was able to resolve. One complaint is that both arms seem to sag a bit, but we probably should have checked to make sure that the internal screws were tight before installing.

I had a rough time putting it up myself, but Im sure a professional would find it fairly easy. All parts were included, including a very long ground wire. The fixture was packaged well and gave me a much needed upgrade to my living room lighting. Feels and looks higher quality.

This lighting system is the perfect simple, modern, and highly effective track light that works great in virtually any space. I am using them in a bedroom converted into a painting studio. Due to the relative small space in the room I absolutely love that there are two track arms that fold which combined with the swivel ability of the light sockets themselves makes for virtually infinite positioning to give light in any direction to any wall, corner, or canvas easel as needed. That coupled with the energy efficient and no-heat producing LED bulbs makes this track light system perfect for the aesthetically energy conscientious buyer. The six bulbs put out a lot of light and are not overtly spot light(y). This unit is extremely easy to install and manipulate. I will probably purchase this unit or an even longer unit for some other rooms in my house.

We bought 3 of these. I for a utility area, and 2 for bathrooms. I was initially uncertain if I liked them for the bathroom (no fault of these units) but I think I do after a short time with them installed. They are adjustable (with halogens they get REALLY hot) so be aware. I'd recommend LEDs, but they're expensive for the GU-10 base. These are smaller than I initially expected from the pictures. I still like them and think if buyer is aware of bulb/heat you will be happy considering the cost.

The lights are absolutely beautiful I love them! The only thing that I was a little disappointed with was that the picture looked as though the globes faded from brown to a soft shade of blue but they didn’t. Other than that my husband put them up over my kitchen sink n they look amazing! I’m so thrilled that I came across them as I was in search of… I would definitely recommend these to anyone n the quality is great!

Finally got the track light up above the kitchen sink in our sons house. One picture makes it look white but its actually all silver. It looks really nice up in that spot and brings some much needed light to an otherwise dark area. The drawstring is being used because this house is over 100 years old and there is no switch hooked to it. He is very happy with it and it adds a lot more modern character to the house as he upgrades it. Thanks Wayfair for another spectacular piece in your collection of household items!

We have been in search of a fixture just like this one for a long time. It resembles pre-existing fixtures in the kitchen-including requiring the same bulbs (for simplicity sake), which was immensely important. It arrived without issue, well packaged, and without damage. The brushed nickel is very, very nice, and the glass "shades" are a wonderful frost finish. The instructions to install are straight forward and we anticipate no issues. Unfortunately, I cannot provide final installation photos as the wooden box that is going to be created and mounted to the ceiling to house the fixture over our island is not completed due to the "shelter-in-place" orders for our area. So I am just providing detail photos to give you an idea how the fixture arrives, and how the details look. So far, very, very impressed.

This light fixture is a great product for the price. Easy to install and love the way it’s totally adjustable so you can configure where you want and need your lights to cover the areas. I installed mine in my kitchen and it’s coverage is perfect for what I was looking for. I definitely recommend this product for areas that you need extra light at times. I also installed a dimmer switch for this fixture because they are very bright when called for I can lower the light cast.

I have a small home-office where I do video work, with just one small window = dark. This is classy-looking, a great price, and lighting can be directed/targeted where I need it. The arms joints are are NOT fixed to the ceiling and are adjustable and can be set to a tight 'W', a long 'W' or even a 'U'-shape if desired. The joints are tight, this is good so they won't wiggle from where they are set, but I wouldn't plan on moving them much regularly after it is installed, because I think this might stress the ceiling attachment. BUT the lights are fully movable as well, and those can be adjusted without any issue. (these are all thoughts that I had when ordering) Fits my needs perfectly.

Super bright, easy to install. Took about 10 minutes to install the fixture. We really appreciated having the white and black wires snipped about 34 inch from the end, so I was able to just slip off the ends. They could have been a couple inches longer for connecting purposes, but no major issues. The LEDs are built in, and all lit without issues. We dont use the light in that location much, so I am confident that the lights will outlast our ownership of the house as the bulbs () are rated for 50,000 hours. Provides much more light than the 7 foot track light that came with the house. I was afraid it would not be enough, as the hallway we put it in is 18 feet by 3 feet. It provides more light for the space in a more compact footprint.

This is a cute, well-made track light and it looked nice on my kitchen ceiling. However, the bulbs are halogen (I think) and so blindingly bright that every time I turned around in my kitchen my eyeball was hit by a headache-inducing flash of light, plus it caused some serious shadows in my work area. It may be that there are different bulbs available somewhere out there, but the ones my local ACE Hardware had that fit it were impossible to live with. I took it down and will try it in the workshop. I replaced this unit after a couple weeks.

The item arrived on time but the package came with a damaged box. Thankfully the actual fixture was undamaged. The photo doesn’t do the item justice at all. I like the matte black finish and solid feel of this fixture, while the chrome treatment to the base joints give it a good contrast, which make this fit right into the modernindustrial feel. The movable parts can be angled with ease. This will give a lot of ample illumination and will definitely highlight any spot in the house. I’m yet to install this in the butler’s pantry and will update this review accordingly. Giving it 4 stars just because the box it came in was damaged and there wasn’t additional protectioncushioning for the item aside from a simple plastic sheath.

First, I was absolutely ecstatic that the shipment came 3 days earlier than the estimated shipping date. I was a bit skeptical when I got the box wondering how the tracking for lights fit into such a compact box. But...sure enough it did. It was pretty easy to install and they came out looking fantastic. I haven't gotten a chance to re-conform the tracks but they are a great ceiling fixture to tie the look that I'm going for in my living room. It doesn't come with lightbulbs but it does require special lightbulbs. They are the GU10 ones and you'll need 6 of them. It was such a great buy and I highly recommend if you're going for something more modern than the traditional ceiling fan/light fixture.
