Mission Handcrafted tiffany stained glass ceiling light lampshade is slight heavy than you expected, as it is made of really 100% stained glass. But when you knock it, it sounds like plastic. That's why? Because of its special manufacturing process. Each glass piece is cut by hand, then polish the edge before wrapping the copper foil. The edges of the glass pieces are wrapped with adhesive copper tape (copper foil). Then putted together in a mould according to the pattern. At last, using soldering material to weld each glass at a very high temperature. The Stained glass is Much Heavy than Plastic, and couldn't been burned, normal knife couldn't cut them. Easy to Check it.

It casts a beautiful glow in my camp bar area.)I ordered a similar light with the same ballast shade size, shape and size but this one is not beige as advertised it is exactly the same pale green milky color. I do adore the gorgeous vintage green color. However with the quality of the light and the just adorable mid century modern look I decided to keep it. This light really could fit into any style home in the right location im putting it into my camp in the bar area and the other into a office room. It was super easy to put together and arrived very quickly. Very cute light fixture, installation was easy and the directions were easy to follow. In one spot there is a slight gap in the LED and the frame of the light itself, but it was not noticeable once we put it up.
