I’m really happy with this light! I was looking for something that felt modern and updated without being overly trendy, and this fixture was exactly what I had in mind. The black finish is clean and classic, and the open geometric design gives it just enough character without making the space feel busy. One of my favorite things about it is how airy it feels. Since the fixture is open rather than having a heavy shade or a lot of glass, it doesn’t block the view or compete with the windows and doors behind it. We have a lot of natural light in this area, and I wanted something that would complement that rather than visually weigh the room down. This does that beautifully. The adjustable hanging length was also a big plus. We have taller ceilings, so being able to position the fixture at the right height made a huge difference. It has enough presence to draw your eye upward, but the actual fixture itself is still fairly streamlined. Once installed, the candle-style bulbs and black metal frame give off a nice warm look in the evening. During the day, it almost disappears into the room while still adding some architectural interest. I also like that the simple black finish works with several different decorating styles, so I don’t feel like I’ll be replacing it the next time I change furniture or decor. Installation was straightforward, and everything arrived in good condition. For the price, I think it looks more expensive than it actually was. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. If you’re looking for a modern black chandelier that is simple, versatile, and works especially well in a room with taller ceilings, I would definitely recommend this one.. Anonymous. We installed this fixture in our master bedroom with 8-foot ceilings, and overall we are extremely happy with the result. Out of the box, even using the included 6-inch downrod, the fixture hung a little lower than we wanted. To create more of a semi-flush mount look, I removed the supplied rods and purchased a 2.5-inch, 1/8 IPS lamp nipple from a local hardware store (see photo). I used it to connect the upper and lower portions of the fixture, and it worked perfectly. The finished installation looks custom and fits the room much better. The light is a perfect complement to our décor and has completely transformed the space. Even with our popcorn ceiling, the room looks dramatically more updated and elegant compared to the outdated ceiling fan it replaced. If you have 8-foot ceilings and are concerned about the hanging height, there is an easy solution. We couldn't be happier with the final result.. Richard. Loveland, OH. Tue Jun 02 2026
