Fixture comes with built in wave sensor. Wave hand past sensor to turn bottom light on. Wave again to turn top light on. Wave a third time to turn both top and bottom lights on. Simply wave one last time to turn the fixture off.

To look at this, it's so cute and gives good, solid light. However, the setup for it was not ideal. The instructions that came with it were not the same as those that actually came with the product. So it was a bit of guesswork with the installation. Again, thankfully, my husband works in maintenance and could figure it out.
