It was a departure from the lighting we had and it really gave the room quite an improved light. I read a lot and m wife makes crafts in the room and we both agree it helped improve the mood and lighting, making it brighter and less eye strain. Nice light, easy to work with and install. Normal use is in a drop ceiling but we used 2 side by side for a custom hard mounted kitchen light. Actually wanted 4 bulb units but 3 bulb gets the job done. I can't get over how hard it is to find these lights now. Most places want to shove LED units on everyone.
