With their love of geometric forms, architects of the Prairie School interpret organic objects into simplified lines. The Meyda Tiffany Prairie Corn flushmount shade has rows of Chili Red and Wheat kernels and stalks of Bronzed Jade against a Maize Gold background. The stained glass shade is paired with simple Mission style hardware in a Mahogany Bronze finish.

Just. Don’t. The base (see photo) does not allow for an installation that aligns with the glass shade. It would be permanently “wonky.” For the price of this light, that’s completely unacceptable. ALSO, received someone else’s return. Item was packed in styrofoam sheets, parts bag was torn open, and instructions and some small parts were missing. If you order, you’ll probably get my return. We love the look of this and how it changed the look of our library. It is an inch larger than our previous light fixture, but because it is flush mount, it actually looks smaller. That being said, it seems to give more light, despite the darker shade, because it casts light on the ceiling. It's beautiful and makes a statement in our room.
