Update couldnt wait any longer. I asked a professional how to install thos light they told me exactly how to do and I did it. It was actually easy. The only hard part was holding my arms up to attach to the ceiling, and getting over the fear that im going to electrocute myself. I shook the fear off and I did it. It took me a little longer because I didnt have a ladder but if I did it would have been done in a flash. My daughter loves it. What I like about it is that it has several light options. Step into the future of interior design with our 4-light black and brass linear modern sputnik semi flush mount, a striking fusion of mid-century modern inspiration, contemporary minimalism, and industrial-chic sophistication. At first glance, you are captivated by its dynamic symmetry, four sleek black arms radiate outward from a central axis, each terminating in a glowing frosted globe bulb (bulb not included). But look closer: the arms are not arranged in a traditional starburst pattern. Instead, they form an elegant linear cross, creating a sense of horizontal balance and visual rhythm that feels both grounded and airborne. In a world of mass-produced fixtures, this 5-light mid-century modern sputnik semi flush mount stands apart. It speaks to the homeowner who appreciates heritage design but lives in the present. At the heart, a sculptural central hub where slender rods elegantly curve and connect, reminiscent of atomic-era engineering meets artisanal craftsmanship. It is minimalist enough for today’s interiors, yet deeply rooted in design history. Whether you are hosting dinner, reading late at night, or simply walking through your hallway, this modern mid-century sputnik semi ceiling light reminds you that beauty can be functional, and functionality can be beautiful.
