These solar lights do not give off quite the same glow as shown in the pictures. The pictures make it look like a pattern of light but really it's just a solid circle of light. There were eight lights in the pack and putting them together was easy. You can stick them in the ground on mount them on a wall. I had the opportunity to try this eight pack of cold white LED ground lights through the Wayfair tried and true program. We have a very large yard. We’ve done some serious renovation over the past two years and now it’s time to enhance it just a little bit. We put up a lovely retaining wall and we’ve landscape it accordingly I wanted to make it pop just a little bit and I put these lights along the perimeter of my edging. They were super easy to put out. A super easy install with one little part to attach. And on and off switch as well as batteries and these are ready to go.
