Silver Transitional Traditional Ceiling Medallions

We purchased 3 different medallions to look at them in person. decide on one return the rest. They were so gorgeous we couldn’t choose readily, but have a couple light fixtures we can use them with. So we kept them all. Love them. Only recommendation is check where the light fixture attaches to the electrical box. Some medallion style are not deep so may not cover up fixture side screws.. Dab. Add the perfect finishing touch to any lighting fixture with our Star brass ceiling canopy. The unique design of this solid brass canopy features a fluted 8-pointed star shape with a matching loop and screw collar for a cohesive look. Within its 8.58" diameter, the Star canopy elegantly combines the impactful visual appeal and bespoke look of a ceiling medallion with the functionality and sophistication of a ceiling canopy. This decorative ceiling canopy pairs beautifully with mid-century fixtures, but it's so versatile that it also complements modern, vintage, minimalist, transitional, and ornate chandeliers or pendant lights. Install on sloped or flat ceilings with electrical boxes 4.8 inches and under to hang fixtures up to 45 lbs. Instantly transform any chandelier or pendant light in your foyer, kitchen, dining room, bar area, living room, bathroom, bedroom, or guest room. The canopy plate itself has a 1.06" center hole and measures 1.26 inches at its tallest point to provide plenty of room for the mounting kit and wiring to comfortably fit within the plate - ensuring no hardware is exposed. Once installed, the matching loop extends 1.46 inches from the canopy plate and has a wire way that can accommodate fixture wires up to 0.28" thick. With a wide variety of today's most popular hardware finishes to choose from, adding a one-of-a-kind look your light fixture has never been easier! The canopy kit includes a canopy plate, a matching loop with screw collar, assembly instructions, along with the following mounting hardware: a 1.5" long 1/8 IPS threaded pipe, 2 bolt screws, a hex nut, and a 3-7/8 inch long steel crossbar with a grounding screw.

In hanging a new high dollar chandelier (wives purchase) the existing electrical box was not aligning to her satisfaction with the table below. So, move box? No! Too much work for 70 year old, now 77. Medallion would cover hole and allow me to adjust position without moving box. And it looked great with the chandelier! John I Smith. Teresa B. Wed Nov 27 2019

This is a beautiful piece!!!! It is made of some sort of lightweight plastic material, but looks like plaster. I used it on a major wall, surrounded in square by chair rail moulding. It has created an elegant and serene atmosphere for a small, lovely sitting room. Love the simplicity of the design. It is not ornate, and , it is certainly not boring!. Teri. Oneonta, NY. This is not where it’s going to go, which is as a ceiling medallion for a fan above my bed… but it is SO GORGEOUS, I’ve actually thought of putting a mirror in the middle and hanging it on a wall…Hmmm, maybe I’ll get another like it and do that, on my wall to match my ceiling medallion I’m actually in the process of getting another slightly different one, a bit larger with the circle around it, but trying to decide if I should use this color or a different one, for another ceiling fan in our living room room‼️❣️♥️. 24" square medallion, it's 3/4" thick. The inner opening for a light fixture base is 8-3/8". This photo shows the medallion just after installation and painting. Before painting I added texture with paintable caulk and let it dry overnight. I wanted it to look like it's been there all along. I attached the medallion to the ceiling using strong glue and a couple of screws, then caulked all the seams. Electricians will do a complete re-wire so the danglers you see are not hot. I may add another photo here when all is complete.. Dimi. Northfield, MN. Sun Nov 24 2024
