This light fixture works perfectly in our bathroom. We wanted to replace the original builder-grade light that came with the house, but I had trouble finding something that met our needs. Our previous fixture was ceiling-mounted, while most bathroom lights are designed to be installed on the wall above or beside a mirror. I actually found this light while browsing kitchen fixtures, and my husband suggested it might work well in the bathroom—and he was right. It looks great installed. I especially love that the wiring is fully enclosed in metal tubes. Our old fixture had exposed wiring threaded through chains, which was difficult to keep clean. This fixture also provides three lights, and because the bottom of each sconce is open and the bulbs point downward, it gives off excellent, bright light—perfect for waking up in the morning. Installation notes • Some parts are secured with set screws the correct size Allen wrench is included, which is a nice touch. • The instructions need a small correction two pairs of wires exit the assembled fixture for connection to household wiring, but the instructions only show and describe one pair. • Overall, assembly and installation were straightforward and manageable. This LED pendant light looks pretty straightforward at first. It’s just an 8W cylinder, nothing fancy, but once it’s hanging, it actually gives the place a clean, neat kind of light. The brushed nickel finish isn’t too shiny or too dull—it sits somewhere in the middle, so it doesn’t fight with the room. It works fine in kitchens or hallways or even over a desk. The clear outer glass and the softer inner glass take the edge off the brightness, so the light doesn’t hit your eyes too sharply. Even though it’s small, the light spreads more than you expect, around five hundred lumens or so, enough for a spot that needs clear lighting without going over the top. Installing it is pretty normal since it runs on regular 120V wiring. The steel body feels firm in your hand, not one of those thin lights that bend if you press too hard. The glass is solid too—thicker than it looks—so it doesn’t feel risky while mounting it. Because the LEDs are built in, there’s no bulb to change later, and it runs for a long time, something around fifty thousand hours. The 4000K color feels neutral—not yellowish, not that cold hospital blue—just a clean white that works in most places. The CRI is around 80, which keeps things from looking washed out. The dimming works with TRIAC dimmers, so if you already have a standard dimmer, it usually pairs without much effort. Cleaning is simple too—the brushed nickel finish hides fingerprints, and the glass doesn’t pick up stains easily. The ETL listing covers safety, so it’s suitable for residential or commercial indoor setups. If you want a small fixture that doesn’t try too hard yet gives a clean, modern light, this 8W cylinder shape pendant is the kind of piece you put up once and barely think about again.
