This is a 3-light glass bowl shade semi ceiling light that combines both functionality and aesthetic appeal, making it an excellent choice for various interior settings. The most eye-catching part of the light is the glass bowl shade. It has a wide, shallow bowl shape that resembles a shallow dish turned upside down. The glass used for the shade has a unique texture. In some views, it appears to have a frosted or rippled effect, which diffuses the light softly when the fixture is turned on. I bought two of these lamps, one for the foyer and one for the top of stairs. The glass is nice and thick, though if you use a candelabra bulb the tips of the bulbs push against the glass bowl and you can see it from below. It was an easy installation, but one of the connectors between the canopy and downrod was stuck at an angle (pictured). This won’t work at the foyer location because you can see a heavily angled lamp from the stair. The second lamp has a slight angle but turned out to be adjustable.
