I was looking to add a ceiling fan/light in my guest room and wanted something a little more fancy than the traditional. I ordered this one, and it is perfect! It dims nicely and isn't too bright! The fan works perfectly, and the fan blades tucking away when not in use is just perfect! The only downside is when I had an electrician install it, he was unable to connect it to a wall switch. Modern ceiling fan chandelier has 3 light colors cool/neutral/warm, that can be changed by the remote control to create a different atmosphere. The fan speed can be adjusted by high/mid/low. The 4 blades will automatically stretch and close when the fan is on and off. You can adjust everything to make you feel comfortable but keep your room in modern style.

We bought three of these; two of the fans been used almost daily except diring winter momths and no problems. I don't use the light feature much but I haven't had any problems with it. As to the air, you have to be directly under it on the highest setting if it's actually hot, so i would recommend for small rooms only (12x12 max). I had an electrician install them, so I can't speak to that process. I do recommend price shopping because I purchased the other two separately from a "prime" site for much less.. Tammie. California.
