This was a huge disappointment. On the website, the lamp base looks opaque, stone-like. In reality, the base is 2 slabs of transparent plastic with squiggly lines painted across each piece. I don't know how they made the product photograph look so good, 'cause the real thing looks cheap and cheesy. And cheap, it was not. Wayfair also wants 20 bucks to return it. My bear was not orange (as read in at least one other review) though it did have some hints of that. I really love the bear and overall style of this lamp. For me, it looks like the picture, and was exactly what I wanted. The only reason it didn't get 5 starts is I was a little disappointed in the shade. It looks like the Wayfair picture but I dunno--was hoping for something less artificial. Overall, however, if you see this and like it, probably a good bet. Oh--and no putting anything together.
