I had my handyman install this fixture but the base didn’t cover the hole in the ceiling. He says he can purchase something that will fix it. In the meantime I’m enjoying it in my new kitchen. Our laundry/mud room is one of the few rooms in the house we haven't really touched since moving in a few years ago, so when the light bulb died in the horrible light fixture that was in there, instead of replacing the bulb, we replaced the entire fixture. The quality of the leaves is very high. My electrician installed the light and then I placed and screwed in the leaves. It took me less than 40 minutes to do the leaves. It turned out beautiful, o just need to buy the bulbs. The reason one star is knocked off is because there are many more places for the leaves to go, but there is no way to fit a leaf on there. I don’t think it is super noticeable, but if you are a perfectionist, it may drive you nuts. I added photos to more clearly understand what I mean. You are also only given 5 or 6 golden leaves, which is what is supposed to happen, and up to you to place them where you want them to go. I’m finishing off a room in my home to use a a bedroom and got this little light puck for the closet as a freebie from the tried and true program. However the electrician said that I should go with a unit that mounts into the wall and sits flush due to the tight space. Since I already had this I replaced a cheap light in my garage. Given the price it seems intended for living spaces though. It even comes with hardware to screw into old can lights. It’s surprisingly bright for its size.
