They don’t take up prime real estate whether in the kitchen or your teen’s hang out space, they offer options for up and downlighting, they work well solo and in clusters, and they come in an endless amount of styles! Take this one-light pendant, for instance: Showcasing an understated downrod and a globe-shaped shade made from glass, it accommodates one 60 W E26 lightbulb (not included).

Suspended by simple cords, they bring a touch of minimalist and Scandinavian - inspired style to any space. Ideal for dining areas, kitchens, or cozy corners, they not only provide gentle illumination but also serve as decorative elements that add a warm, playful vibe to modern interiors.

This is adorable BUT it was so hard to put up. The bracket doesn’t fit on a standard width junction box and so I sort of had to just use one screw and wedge the other side so it would stay. Hard to explain. An electrician could’ve probably come up with a better solution. Just be warned it is a tiny little cover at the top so if you have a larger hole from a previous light, you may need to use a ceiling medallion to cover it. Bethany. Sat Mar 14 2026
