This is a high quality fan light with good features. The light is adjustable in both brightness and warm/cool so I can set it exactly how I like it. Love that feature. It looks really beautiful in my bedroom. The fan puts off a very nice breeze and is very quiet. The downsides: my old traditional ceiling fan had separate switches for the fan and the light, and this fan doesn't work with the second separate fan switch. Also if you turn it off using the wall switch, it preserves the last light setting but not the fan setting, so you would have to turn the fan back on with the remote any time you use the switch. We replaced a smaller fan on our back porch that just did not move enough air. This one does the job well! It was easy to assemble and hang. We did not put the blades on until we had the motor installed on the ceiling. It was just too awkward to try and hang with the blades on. They were super easy to screw on once we had the motored installed and wired up. The remote is very handy, you can change the light temperature as well as dim the light. Was a little disappointed that there was a lot of assembly required. The “wood” is actually metal but it has a nice finish and really does look like wood.
