These solar post lights are impressive! They are heavy and easy to assemble. Needing no wiring they can be placed anywhere and have a very large solar panel on the top. First it was delivered out by the road, we live on a pretty busy road so I'm surprised it wasn't stolen and our driveway is big enough so should have been delivered closer to the house. Then assembling it several screws wouldn't go in (not threaded correctly) and one of the lamp globes also wouldn't screw in (again not threaded correctly). I asked for replacement parts and was contacted by a Wayfair representative, saying to try and use a high speed drill.....needless to say not too happy with that. This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. I’m impressed with this dusk to dawn outdoor lamp post. It wasn’t very hard to put together, and seems good quality. The problem I foresee is someone with no electrical experience trying to put it together and install it. My husband is an electrician, and I’m glad.
