This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. Only thing I would change would be an option for an off/motion on mode rather than just low light/bright motion. Love that we can put it anywhere we need more light.. Robert. Leroy, OH. I was very upset when I received my 2 croker solar lights. The posts had many scratches and one of the lights didn’t work. So I called the customer service and waited a while to resolve the issue. One of the lamp was good the other one my husband tried to fix by changing the battery. It worked so I kept both them and bought another one too. The light fixture looks great. The instructions could have been a little clearer. It took us 4 hours to put it together. The light fixture/planter is on our front porch and it lights up the porch and walkway, it is great. We love our new lamp post and planter. It was easy to assemble and looks great on our porch. The dimmer is a plus. I was concerned about the panels around the light because they looked quite dark in the photo. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and they are much lighter than the photo and we love it.
