This 6-light sputnik glass globe linear semi flush mount features a unique design inspired by the Soviet Union's Sputnik satellite. I was hesitant but now that it’s been installed I really love this light! My bedroom is rectangular and the electrician had the longest part of the light running in the direction of the shorter wall. I wanted it running the other way and it after removing one globe it was very easy to spin it in the other direction. I used the 4000k bi-pin bulbs with a dimmer and it works great!. Gail. I’m still deciding. I like that the canopy will hide the junction between the 2 halves, but didn’t expect 2 pieces. I thought it was one whole light. I like that the individual lights can each point in a different direction, but I don’t like the thick-seeking plastic covers on each. Especially without the time to install it, I don’t know how much they will illuminate through this plastic. I’ll try to update, because I think the above info is important. Unsure.. Theresa.
