Updated review: I received a replacement set which arrived very well packaged and in excellent condition and included the instructions which the original did not have. The button is on the bottom where the stake goes in. For the hassle I’m giving it three stars but the lights do work very well and customer service came through like they always do. Absolute disaster with packaging. This is what it looked like as soon as I opened the box. There was nothing inside the big box to keep the lights from moving around. Put the lights outside in the sun for over 6 hours but they did not turn on at all at night. None out of a set of 6. I ordered these lights to put in a garden bed so I could see it at night from my window in my house. They came unassembled, but it was easy to put them together. It has two different attachment options included so you can put the stake in to put it in the ground or screws and a plate if you are hanging them somewhere. Make sure you take the clear plastic off the top and turn the button to on before you install them. They came with a charge which was nice so I got to see them on the first night. They make my garden look beautiful and easy to see from the house, but are dim enough that they don't light up the whole yard.
