I received this aluminum ceiling fan in a timely manner. It is white just like I ordered. Not very heavy and comes with remote control for the fan and the lights. From what I have been reading the fan can operate with lights on or off. I love this feature because it is similar to the one in the primary bedroom. The fan can run without the lights being on if that is the preference. Some of the fan blades can be removed and still run. I need an electrician to come and install for me. I searched for the internet for several fans this color and size. I finally landed on this Hunter one. I loved everything about it. My husband installed it without any trouble. We absolutely love it. The light is the perfect color, not too yellow and not too white-like most LED lights can be. The only downside would be the remote. It only has up and down arrows and the remote does not have a holder for the wall. We tend to loose remotes easily in our household so that is a negative point for us.
