A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954.
