I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. I believe it completely throws off the aesthetics of the room. I will be hiding the remote behind something because no way do I want a black remote on the wall. I wish it was white (. Laura. I received this aluminum ceiling fan in a timely manner. It is white just like I ordered. Not very heavy and comes with remote control for the fan and the lights. From what I have been reading the fan can operate with lights on or off. I love this feature because it is similar to the one in the primary bedroom. The fan can run without the lights being on if that is the preference. Some of the fan blades can be removed and still run. I need an electrician to come and install for me. I ordered 4 of this style ceiling fan. 3 were fine. The last one had defective wiring to attach light to the fixture. Per Wayfair, had to go thru mfg. for resolution. Owner of my electrical company trouble shooted and was able to resolve the problem a couple days later. Appears to be working fine. However this did incur add'l cost for installation. My concern was when I requested replacement of ceiling fan there were only 3 left in stock. Feared would not be able to get another. The process ultimately turned out ok but was not comfortable how issue was handled for above reason especially since recently purchasing 3.
