When the light is turned on, the frosted glass creates a warm, ambient glow that fills the room, eliminating harsh shadows and providing a cozy atmosphere. The spherical shape of the shades adds to the overall mid-century modern aesthetic, with its clean lines and simple yet sophisticated form. As a semi-flush mount, this opal glass sputnik semi ceiling light is designed to be installed relatively close to the ceiling. It is an ideal choice for spaces where a chandelier might be too large or obtrusive, but a flush mount would not provide enough visual interest.

Stunning light! Can not wait to get this put up in our new home.. Penny. Oakland, TN. Wed Sep 09 2026

The 9-light frosted glass modern sputnik semi flush mount is a remarkable lighting fixture that combines functionality with high-end design. At the heart of this fixture is its unique Sputnik design, characterized by multiple curved arms that radiate outwards from a central mounting plate. Each arm is crafted with precision, featuring smooth, flowing curves that add a dynamic and artistic flair to the overall appearance. Attached to the ends of these curved arms are frosted glass globe shades. The frosted glass has a milky, opaque quality that gently scatters the light, eliminating harsh shadows and glare. This not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also ensures that the light is evenly distributed throughout the room. As a semi flush mount, this frosted glass shade sputnik semi flush mount is designed to be installed close to the ceiling, making it an ideal choice for rooms with lower ceilings or for those who prefer a more streamlined look.

The sputnik semi flush mount with glass globe boasts several glass globes in a mesmerizing ombre effect, transitioning from deep blue to soft clear. Each globe diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow that enhances any space. The globes are suspended from a central brass-toned canopy via slender, curved metal arms, evoking the iconic "Sputnik" style with a modern twist. The brass finish adds a touch of luxury, complementing the cool tones of the glass while providing a striking contrast against white ceilings or walls. The semi-flush mount design ensures it sits close to the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with lower clearance while maintaining a sculptural presence.

First of all this light is amazing. It looks absolutely good. Exclamation, the only problem I have with the light is removing the bulb cover. It’s a little tough, but if you can get past that, you will enjoy this life.. Susie. Vacaville, CA. Fri Sep 04 2026
