Globe Matte Flush Mount Lighting

This flush mount provides diffused overhead illumination through a rounded glass globe. The spherical shade extends below a metal canopy, allowing light from one bulb to spread through the surrounding glass. Above it, pleated metal detailing forms a dimensional sunburst shape that adds texture around the ceiling plate. The low-profile construction keeps the fixture close to the ceiling while maintaining the sculptural form of the shade and canopy. Plus, the glass globe helps soften and distribute light from the single bulb.

Aesthetics are worth the price but quality is not as high as we hoped. We purchased the gold, hoping for polished brass but it is more brushed. The screws are a totally different finish but an easy swap from the hardware store. An adjustable circular plate to mount would be better to ensure the screws don’t end up in a weird spot depending on your junction box orientation. Another swap we will make. A slight gap where fixture meets the ceiling that we hope to find a way to eliminate. That said, overall it’s a simple modern fixture no frills, which is what we wanted!. Anonymous. Wed Feb 01 2023
