I got 3 of these light fixtures in matte black for my hallway and bedroom closet. They work well for 10ft high ceilings. Installation was straightforward, except neither the product page nor the instructions mentioned the yellow fiberglass insulation on the back of the fixture. I assume its necessary for insulation and code compliance, but it would have been helpful to know beforehand that I was dealing with fiberglass when installing so I could take extra safety measures.. I'm very pleased with the look of this fixture, which I got to replace an unattractive ceiling fan I didn't use often. Not every light would look right against the board ceiling of my bedroom but this does, and it goes well with other brushed nickel fixtures in the house. I think it was a little tricky to put up but fortunately I wasn't doing it myself and my handyman figured it out. Works nicely on a dimmer switch.. Anne. Waterloo, IA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Pardon the dust on my ceiling- This fixture is gorgeous, but boy was it a bear to install! The three wires were a hair short and trying to attach them to the existing hard wires proved to be very challenging. But, once it was done, there was STILL more assembly to be done. The shades needed to be put together. I love it though-it gives so much light to our previously dark laundry room- it’s perfect.. Elise. Papillion, NE. Mon Feb 09 2026
