This is a solid sconce. The size/scale are perfect for small spaces or when a minimal look is preferred. I love the retro cord. My only comment, I received installation instructions for a hard wire by electrician. This sconce is intended to be a plug in, I didn't receive the instructions for that type of install. The Parrot Sentinel Has Entered the Kitchen and I’m Obsessed: I absolutely love this parrot stained glass wall sconce. We put it in our kitchen, and he has become or little sentinel guarding our front door and kitchen area, it instantly gave the space so much personality. It is whimsical and does not look cheap, the opposite, the colors are even prettier in person than on the website. The warm glow through the stained glass makes the whole area feel cozy, tropical, and a little magical. The antique bronze wall mount gives it a more elegant, vintage look, so it does not feel like a novelty piece. It feels like functional art. The parrot shape is fun, but still tasteful enough to work as real décor. It is a great size for an accent light, and it adds charm without taking over the room.
